Finally completed 36 days’ long
holidays at India and SRI Lanka. It was another memorable trip with lot of
experiences, learnings and explorations.

of trip - After climbing at Adam’s peak, Sri Lanka

during trip - Kandy, World Heritage City
6. Best Shopping
place - Ludhiana
7. Surprising
place - Ella at Sri Lanka

journey - Nuwara Eliya to Ella

photograph - Train on nine arch bridge and Sigiriya lion rock - both are
attached here.

South Indian food at Sangeetha, Chennai
11. Best Temple
explored - Ranakpur Temple near Udaipur
12. Missed on
trip - driving car by myself
13. Self
explorations - Udaipur old city, Pichola and Fatehsagar lake while driving 2
wheeler.
14. Will miss -
Kulhad coffee from Udaipur

Boring train journey - Chennai to Mumbai

disappointing place - Mareena Beach at Chennai

disappointing Shopping - Colombo
18. Most messy
place - Mahabalipuram near chennai with lot of potential

food - Mangoes and king coconuts while driving in SRI Lanka
21. New thing
added in routine - Black tea without Sugar
22. Best Airport
- Singapore still
23. Best Beer -
Bira White at India and Lion strong at SRI Lanka
24. New colours
found - On Indian currency, which are difficult to differentiate.
25. Biggest
social gatherings - During Sukhmani sahib paath at Kotkapura and New year lunch
at Udaipur
26. Best drinks
party - At Pune with friends and finished too much alcohol.
27. Best railway
station during travel - Jodhpur in Rajasthan
28. New
initiative found - hire bicycle in Pune
29. Best Reunion
- With TCS Mumbai colleagues and CEPT friends
30. Most used
app - Ola Cabs, worth it in major cities of India
31. Most hurtful
incident - Small foot injury for Oorja while riding on bicycle, but it was
fantastic to see local community effort in healing the wound with local herbs.
32. Best beach
during trip - Bentota beach at SRI Lanka
33. Plantations
visited - Rubber, Tea, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Pineapple etc.
34. Biggest
water fall - Ravana Falls near Ella
35. Best evening
spent - Watching cultural show at Kandy
36. Best
Breakfast - At Kandy hotel
37. Most
overrated place - Temple of Tooth Relic at Kandy
38. Best
companions during SRI Lanka trip - Kalum and Pushpa
