destinations we visited were - Arthur Pass, Hokitika Gorge, Lake Matheson for
reflections of Mt Cook, Mt Tasman, Fox Glacier, Franz Josef Glacier, Wanaka,
Haast Pass, Blue Pools, Wanaka, Arrowtown, Queenstown, Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo
and Christchurch
4. Glaciers covered
- Franz Josef and Fox Glacier. Both glaciers are receding at faster pace and
must see place once in lifetime
5. Lakes covered -
Hawea, Wanaka, Wakatipu, Pukaki, Hayes, Matheson and Tekapo
6. Major cities
visited were Christchurch and Queenstown
7. Best Surprise -
Hokitika Gorge for beautiful colours of River #hokitikagorge
8. Best Breakfast -
Bonjour French restaurant at Arrowtown
9. Best Lunch -
Thai Siam at Queenstown
10. Best Dinner -
Bombay Palace at Queenstown
11. Highlight of
tour - Helicopter ride over Fox and Franz Josef Glacier
12. We tried local
beers - Speight, Tui, Monteith’s and Queenstown breweries
13. Thing did not
went as per plan - weather at Queenstown during Million Dollar Cruise but still
enjoyed with being captain of cruise and lovely company
14. Best hotel -
Sherwood at Queenstown #sherwoodqueenstown
15. New things
tried - Helicopter ride over glaciers, Ice Skating and Below Zero Ice Bar
16. Most scenic
routes - Wanaka to Queenstown, Arrowtown to Queenstown, Hokitika to Hokitika
Gorge, Fox Glacier to Wanaka via Haast Pass
